Myrtle Beach and the Mills family go way back. My grandparents built a beach house at North Myrtle Beach when I was two years old and my family, and my wife Tammany’s family, have vacationed here all our lives. Needless to say, Myrtle Beach has provided us with many happy memories throughout the years. We had always dreamed of living at the beach and made our dream come true in 2004. I consider myself extremely lucky to be able to live at the beach and do something that I truly enjoy – selling real estate and helping others make their own dream of living at the beach come true.
My wife Tammany and I have been married since 1992, and we have two beautiful daughters – Abigail and Steffi. The girls love to spend long hours on the beach playing in the sand and surf – or going to the pool to relax. I enjoy playing golf and have become spoiled playing some of the most beautiful golf courses in the country. They don’t call Myrtle Beach “The Golf Capital of the World” for nothing! I thoroughly enjoy building relationships with my clients and playing golf with as many of them as possible!
I have always enjoyed sports, lettering in football, basketball, and tennis in high school. In college I enjoyed working as a teaching professional in tennis, working with everyone from small children to advanced players. The highlight of my sports career was winning a silver medal in tennis at the North Carolina State Games – North Carolina’s version of the Olympics. I picked up golf while getting my degree from NC State University and started playing regularly after I graduated.
I think my athletic background has really helped mold me into the person and professional I am today. The values I learned in sports have transcended into my professional career – communication, teamwork, dedication, the ability to focus, and a desire to win. These values have allowed me to be successful, having sold $34 Million in real estate in the past four years. Beyond monetary rewards, I have gained many friends along the way. Almost 90% of my sales have been referrals, a fact I am very proud of, since it shows the dedication and trust I have built with my clients.
